Recognition at the AAI Mexico Awards

Recognition at the 14th National Architecture and Interior Design Award, AAI México.

Architectural design and interior design in Mexico have one of the most significant platforms for assessment and visibility: the National Architecture and Interior Design Awards organised by AAI México (the Mexican Association of Architects and Interior Designers). In their 14th edition, MAAR Arquitectura was distinguished with two important awards that reaffirm our vision of designing spaces with purpose, beauty and a connection to their setting.

The recognised projects were Thompson Private Residences in Puerto Cancún, in the Virtual Projects category, and Secrets & Impression Moxché in the Hospitality category. Two different building types, but with the same guiding thread: the pursuit of a human, conscious architecture of the highest standard.

Receiving an AAI award means a specialist jury has valued not only a project’s aesthetics or innovation but also its ability to generate meaningful experiences. In the case of Thompson Private Residences, it recognises a luxury residential design that explores new ways of living by the sea. Secrets & Impression Moxché, for its part, raises the quality of hospitality in the Riviera Maya through a resort that combines sophistication with a tropical atmosphere.

These awards encourage us to keep developing proposals that raise the standards of architecture in Mexico. Each recognition is also a reminder of the commitment we have to every client, every project and every community we design in.

At MAAR Arquitectura, we believe in architecture that goes beyond the built object to become an experience of life.
