Take Off Office
Located in Cancún, Quintana Roo, the office for Take Off Creative Studio turns an open space of barely 43 m² into a compact, flexible workplace full of identity. The intervention begins by reorganising the brief around a new kitchen and bathroom, whose configuration also makes room for a private office at the back and frees up the front for collaborative work. Every square metre is put to work for the dynamics of a creative agency, balancing focus, the exchange of ideas and time spent together.
The concept moves away from the conventional image of a corporate office towards a more eclectic, expressive and inspiring space, one that reflects the nature of the people who use it. The colour palette combines terracotta, greens and neutrals with geometries, furniture pieces and accents that add character without losing coherence. The materials reinforce that intention through marble, polished concrete, chukum-style finishes, wood, metal elements and a brick wall preserved from the original façade, weaving what was already there into the project's new narrative.
More than designing a place to work, MAAR Arquitectura Humana proposes a stage for creating. Light, texture, colour and the different atmospheres give each area a personality of its own, showing how a small footprint can become a dynamic, functional and memorable space when architecture and interior design start from the identity of the people who inhabit it.
