Every work is a dialogue between its setting, the light and the lives of those who inhabit it.

Hotel Lahun Tikú 1
Located on Playa Tikú, on the Costa Maya in Mahahual, this project takes the iconic features and colours of the Mediterranean architecture of the Greek islands and brings them into a Mexican context, letting vernacular traits coexist with others that speak of modernity.
The concept is to carve a way through the rock: an imagined great block of stone that is gradually sculpted so the living spaces take shape inside it, leaving a large shell — a singular shelter that gives the project a unique identity and essence.
