MAAR Wins "Best Architectural Firm" at the America Best of Best Awards 2024

It is a joy and a source of pride to announce that MAAR Arquitectura Humana has been honoured with the prestigious "Best Architectural Firm" award in Mexico at the America Best of Best Awards 2024, presented by the Golden Tree Awards. The recognition celebrates our dedication to the pursuit of architectural excellence and our passion for creating unique spaces that respect and celebrate the natural setting.

Over ten years of practice, MAAR Arquitectura Humana has stood out for its mission to humanise architecture, using elements that encourage togetherness and human wellbeing. During that decade we have had the privilege of designing a wide range of projects, from boutique hotels, residences and luxury apartments to spinning studios and restaurants. Among our most emblematic works are Secrets Moxché and Impression Moxché, which together total close to 700 keys, 14 food and beverage outlets, pools, cenotes and spas, achieving a perfect fusion of luxury and sustainability.

Thompson Private Residences Puerto Cancún, for its part, stands out as a luxury apartment development that inspires a holistic and private life, taking the idea of exclusivity to the next level.

"We are deeply grateful for this recognition, which reflects the effort and passion of our team," said Arq. Luis Enrique Macedo, Executive Director and Founder of MAAR Arquitectura Humana. "This award not only celebrates our achievements, it also motivates us to keep innovating and pushing the limits of architectural design while respecting the natural environment."

This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our clients, partners and colleagues. Every project we deliver is the result of collaborative effort and a shared vision of quality and design. From creating spaces inspired by the cultural richness of Mexico to introducing innovations that answer today’s needs, our mission has always been to turn concepts into exceptional architectural realities.

We thank everyone who has been part of this journey and invite you to join us in this new chapter. The award reaffirms our position as leaders in the industry and drives us to keep creating spaces that go beyond the conventional. Thank you for being part of our story!
